I think this picture deals alot with mass culture. This is a dipiction of the famous World War photograph of our American troops raising the flag symbolizing our freedom and victory. However, instead of the American Flag, a McDonald's sign is being raised. This is showing that McDonald's has a grasp on the American culture in that most places in today's world have a McDonalds nearby, or around the corner. This McD's sign is a representation of our American Flag.
